Annual Traditions - Olivet Youth

Over the past three years, many of our Olivet Youth activities have become annual traditions that provide unique fellowship, worship, and faith experiences. Last month, for example, 9 youth and 3 adults participated in our annual snow tubing trip to Blue Mountain - imagine all of us speeding down the snowy slope, screaming with laughter and spinning until we didn't know which way was up or down. Fun activities like snow tubing give us time to slow down from the typical rush of our daily lives, and give us time to share in friendship and fellowship.

In April, we will have another of our annual activities, our Camp Brainerd retreat, where we will again have time to connect in friendship and fellowship. Boating, cooperation course games (tire swings, anyone?), scavenger hunts, movies, board games, and the Saturday night campfire are all fun things we look forward to year after year. Beyond being a fun, exciting time together though, the annual retreat gives us time to come together as a Christian family. Our theme-based Bible studies give us time to learn and grow in our faith, sharing our thoughts and opinions through activities and discussions. We also share in praise and worship through youth-led worship services.

Olivet Youth strives to provide a wide variety of fellowship, worship, and faith experiences. If you're new to the group, please feel free to join us at any time, for any meeting or activity. Friends are always welcome too, and there's usually at least one new friend along with everything we do. The door's always open - come and join us!
