AL’S CLEANERS
(across the street from Olivet Church)
Use Al’s Cleaners services to refresh clothing by cleaning or washing. Take in other household fabrics, blankets, comforters, drapes etc., etc. Important: Mention Olivet Church when dropping off items so that
Olivet Church receives credit in the form of a rebate. Stop in to visit Al. Take your clothing, etc. with you when you do!
Inclement Weather:
When it’s necessary to cancel church services/programs due to snow, ice, extreme rain, or flooding etc., call 610-258-7990, the church office, to hear its phone announcement- -or, contact www.wfmz.com and check its cancellation list.
SAFE HARBOR
Safe Harbor is truly a remarkable program for the homeless and hungry, in a building located in 500 block of Bushkill Drive. Though sleeping accommodations are few, the program also offers breakfast and lunch for the hungry whether or not they are over-night guests.
Congregations of the Easton area Churches participate in the program by providing pre-cooked meals, or foods to cook meals, i.e., Olivet provides a lunch the second Thursday of each month. Every church has its schedule.
To participate, talk to our current coordinators.
REDNERS’
The “Save- A-Tape” program by REDNERS’ continues this year. Olivet is not receiving as many tapes as in the past. Please shop at Redners’, then give your Redners’ register tapes to Olivet so that they can be exchanged for a rebate check to Olivet.
NOTE:
It’s important that the ‘’SAVE-A -TAPE” stamp is on each and every tape that’s turned in. PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! Don’t cut off the bottom of the register tape. REMEMBER to get the tapes to Olivet- -on Sundays, or stop in to the church office to drop them off. Need help? Call 610-258-7990.
